Welcome to Ad2OKC! Our mission is to energize and connect young professionals in the Oklahoma City advertising industry by providing opportunities for networking, community involvement and education. We represent the advertising, communications, marketing and design industries and get together monthly to hear guest speakers, tour local businesses, volunteer and network. And we have fun doing it. Ad2OKC Speaker Meetings & Socials
Ad2OKC gets together every Third Thursday of every month because we like the way it rolls off our tongue. Feel free to try it on for size a couple of times. 3rd 3rsday. 3rd 3rsday. Nithe, huh?
Each Third Thursday, Ad2OKC’ers converge on different after-hours hot spots and let ‘er rip. From month to month, we alternate between socials and speaker meetings. Socials are lively get-togethers that open doors to that wonderful world of networking you can only find with Ad2OKC. Socials start whenever you can get there after work and sustain until the last beverage is drink, drank or drunk. Speaker meetings are just as fun, and usually a tad more structured. Speakers normally take the stage at 6pm and drop their knowledge for about an hour. Speaker meetings may be at a restaurant, bar, someone's office, or a dark alley.
Drinks and food are always available, and sometimes provided for free!
Socials are free for everyone over 21 to attend. Speaker meetings are free for members and about $15 for non-members, unless otherwise noted.
